Hello my name is Cooper. I am a year 7 and I live in Moerewa. I enjoy playing games like Fortnite
and playing inside. What do you like to do?

My experiences about lockdown were alright because it wasn’t very crowded around my house.
I discovered that I can go without junk food and bad drinks. What I couldn’t go without was
electricity, food and water. What were your experiences during your lockdown?

Lockdown definitely has sadness and a lot more.I missed lots of different restaurant food.
I have learnt that this virus is as big as the 2003 virus. Also, lots of countries have been
affected badly. Most countries like the US and lots of European countries were affected badly
and many people lost their lives.

I hope this letter finds you happy and well and I hope you have a great day.

Yours sincerely

Cooper

  1. Kia Ora Cooper, my name is Autumn and I am a year seven student at Paihia Primary school. I really enjoyed your lockdown letter! I liked how you wrote your own personal experience during lockdown. Earlier this year we had to write a lockdown letter to the people who had nobody to share their lockdown with; we had to write five paragraphs including our introduction and conclusion!
    Who was your letter to?
Make sure to keep up the good work and don’t forget to check out my blog at: https://psautumnw.blogspot.com/

  2. Kia ora Cooper my name is Gail and I am a year 7 student at Paihia School. I like this blog post because all of your ideas are separated into paragraphs so that it’s a lot easier to read. I also really liked this post because our class got to write letters about what we did in lockdown too.
Did you enjoy writing your letter about lockdown?

  3. kia ora Cooper, I am Imogen and I’m a year 7 student at Paihia School in Te Ngahere. I just finished reading your lockdown letter. I really like how you organised your letter into paragraphs because it made it really easy to read. In term two we wrote kindness letters to all of the people in lockdown that were lonely. What is the 2003 virus?
